Current overnight and access notices
Florida State Parks currently reports Holton Creek River Camp closed after Hurricane Helene damage. The Suwannee River State Park campground is closed to reservations and walk-ins effective June 3, 2026. Do not plan an overnight stop at either site while those notices remain; confirm boat-ramp access, other open camps, reservations and river-only landings before departure. Routes with unresolved endpoint access are withheld from the public picker and redirect here.
The trip profiles use the White Springs USGS gauge and published Suwannee River Water Management District stage cues. Florida DEP cautions that high stages can make paddling dangerous and can close parks or river camps; check the District’s paddling guidance, live gauge trend and official closure notices together.
