    American Whitewater describes a slow opening followed by straightforward Class II-III rapids below Macon Sheep Bridge and a final flatwater crossing on Magic Reservoir. Scout bridge approaches, wood, and the reservoir transition from legal public land only. The reach was reported runnable at 500 and 1,800 cfs; Visit Southern Idaho recommends flows above 500 cfs and warns that this may occur for only one or two weeks each year. Use the 500 cfs floor as a conservative planning cue, not a guarantee of safe water. Camas Creek receives pasture and Fairfield runoff. Wait for several days of clean flow after a major rise, carry drinking water, and treat Moonstone as the only confirmed public landing for this card.
