Launch at Watson Sag Dam and take out at Lagoon Park for the lower-Chippewa connector between the existing Lentz-to-Watson and Lagoon-to-Prien's cards. The Watson DNR gauge is direct at the put-in corridor and publishes official discharge bands.

Road shuttle
Stage the take-out at Lagoon Park in Montevideo, then drive upstream to the Watson Sag Dam access. Inspect the put-in carefully and launch only from the safe public-access side of the dam area.

- Lagoon Park is the intended take-out. Continuing to Prien's Landing is a separate short connector with its own confluence and Minnesota River caveats.

- The lower Chippewa can have faster current, muddy banks, wind exposure, and fresh wood near bends; make a visual check even when the Watson gauge is in range.
- Take out at Lagoon Park unless you are intentionally starting the separate Lagoon-to-Prien's connector. Do not assume private banks near Montevideo are legal stops or camping sites.
