  • NYSDEC public-fishing-rights mapping shows East Kill stream and access context but does not by itself authorize launching a boat at every PFR or bridge. Follow posted landowner, DEC, DOT, and town rules.
  • Route 23A is the take-out boundary described by American Whitewater. Do not extend downstream into the Schoharie Creek without a separate access, hazard, and route review.
  • Nearby campground and primitive-camping rules are separate from route access. Do not camp at the bridges, on private banks, or on a rapid beach merely because it is adjacent to the creek.
