More route and safety guidance
- The upstream access is a difficult public-road/trail approach through the Lusk Creek Wilderness area, not a developed ramp. Do not assume Stone Bottom Road is passable or that a vehicle can reach the water; confirm current Forest Service rules and conditions before carrying boats in.
- The Eddyville Blacktop Road bridge is the practical improved landing, but the route has very limited intermediate exits. Lusk Creek can double or triple in height within hours after rain; check the direct gauge, rainfall, debris, and water temperature immediately before launch.
