  • Use the named Pinnacle Rock and Parkdale AHRA sites only. The Pinnacle coordinate follows the mapped Arkansas River channel beside the site; confirm the marked ramp, carry, and current rules.
  • Parkdale is the mandatory exit before the separate Class IV–V Royal Gorge route. Do not continue downstream toward Cañon City.
  • The 300–5,000 cfs official band is planning guidance only. Keep the route unavailable when telemetry, access, visual conditions, or group skill are inconsistent.
  • Do not confuse the nearby CPW State Trust Lands parcel with the AHRA boating access; that parcel has separate seasonal public-access restrictions.

Watch for

  • USGS 07094500 below 300 cfs, above 5,000 cfs, rapidly rising, unavailable, or inconsistent with local conditions
  • Class III rapids, lateral waves, strainers, cold water, debris, railroad/bridge hazards, limited recovery, and failure to exit at Parkdale
  • AHRA closures, fees, fire restrictions, highway shuttle hazards, Parkdale access changes, and accidental continuation into Royal Gorge
