Launch at Winneboujou Landing and take out at Bois Brule Landing for the short public-access connector below the classic Stone's-to-Winneboujou run. It is a compact cold-water Brule trip with class I riffles, designated-landing rules, and little room for casual private-bank exits.

Use a short two-car state-forest shuttle between Winneboujou Landing near County Highway B and the Bois Brule campground landing on South Ranger Road. Do not assume informal exits are legal between the designated landings.

- The route is short, but the water is cold and spring-fed, with class I riffles that become bony below the WTG floor and pushier above the novice band.
- Do not extend downstream into the longer Bois Brule-to-Pine Tree route unless the group is prepared for a much longer shuttle and additional named rapids.
