Launch at Buck Hollow and take out at Blue Spring for the shortest official upper Jacks Fork split. Use the Mountain View gauge as the same conservative low-water check already used on adjacent upper-Jacks routes.

- Blue Spring uses a steep dirt-road approach and can feel rougher than the short mileage suggests. Scout the landing and turnaround before leaving a vehicle.

- Below the 100 cfs floor, expect scraping and possible short lining through riffles and ledges rather than an easy drift.
- Blue Spring on the Jacks Fork is a primitive river access and campsite, not a developed boat ramp. Use only the signed NPS accesses and do not substitute informal roadside pull-offs or private banks.
