Additional access notes
- The route guide states that private land borders portions of the run; scouting and portage must stay within lawful exposed-bank/access corridors.
- High water, a dam-release horn, rising trend, cold water, wood, or a group without whitewater rescue competence overrides the app score.

- The Weed Dam release can change the river quickly; below 80 cfs is not recommended, the 80-150 cfs band can be scrappy, and high water makes Monastery and Zeimer's pushy and consequential.
- Stay on the named public Lower Red River Park and Zeimer's Falls access corridors. Private banks border parts of the run; do not use private property for scouting or portage.
- Cold water, strainers, foot entrapment, and remote rescue consequences require PFDs, appropriate craft, a communication plan, and a competent whitewater group.
