Launch at Bellville Road Access and take out at Montezuma Bridge Ramp for the official 9.2-mile Providence-area Tradewater segment. Use the Providence gauge as the route check, and stand down quickly when the river leaves the official band because this drainage rises fast.

Montezuma Bridge RampMontezuma Bridge Ramp has only a few parking spots and limited room around the bridge. Inspect the take-out first so the final exit does not turn into an avoidable scramble.
Road shuttle
Stage the Montezuma take-out first, then drive back to Bellville through Providence. Inspect both accesses before launching because the parking areas are small, rural, and can change with storms, mud, or local use.

- KDFWR says bank and wade fishing at both accesses is limited to the access area because the adjacent property is private. Do not treat the banks between the accesses as public lunch or camping ground.
