Launch at Montezuma Bridge Ramp and take out at Fishtrap Bridge Ramp for the official 6.7-mile lower Tradewater continuation. Use the Providence gauge at the put-in as the route check, and stand down quickly when the river leaves the official band because this drainage rises fast.

Road shuttle
Stage the Fishtrap take-out first, then drive back to Montezuma through Providence. Inspect both bridge accesses before launching because parking is limited and muddy shoulders can change after storms.

- KDFWR says bank and wade fishing at both accesses is limited to the access area because the adjacent property is private. Do not treat the banks between the accesses as public lunch or camping ground.
