Launch at Motor Mill and take out at Garber for a long scenic lower Turkey River float through wooded bluffs, limestone outcrops, and the Volga confluence. This is one of the cleanest direct-gauge Turkey River routes because the Garber USGS station sits at the downstream end.

Motor Mill Access #32Motor Mill is a developed public access, but identify the carry path and parking before unloading because the historic-site layout spreads visitors across multiple areas.
Take-out
Garber Access #20Garber Access #20 is on river left just past the second bridge in town. If you miss it, the next practical public exit is not immediate.
Road shuttle
Use a two-car shuttle between Motor Mill and Garber before launching. The take-out comes late in a remote stretch, so confirm the Garber access and parking before committing to the day.

- This corridor has few easy public exits in between, so do not launch unless the group can finish a full 12-plus-mile day at the current level and weather.

- Motor Mill Access #32 and Garber Access #20 are the named public endpoints. Confirm the historic-site carry path, Garber parking, and the full vehicle shuttle before unloading.
- Expect continuous riffles, blind outside bends, floating wood, and changing current near the Volga confluence. Recent rain can raise and muddy the river quickly.
- Respect private banks and use only public access sites. Wear a properly fitted PFD, carry communication and rescue equipment, and do not launch unless the group can complete the full reach in daylight.
