Launch in Williamsburg and continue all the way to Cumberland Falls Carrydown for the full Upper Cumberland gorge planner. The route begins with an easier town launch but finishes as an advanced above-the-falls whitewater day with a mandatory take-out.

Williamsburg RampWilliamsburg is the clean upstream public launch. Long Bottom is a legitimate mid-route access, but KDFWR says the final road approach is extremely rugged and not a normal easy bailout.
Take-out
Cumberland Falls CarrydownKDFWR says to work to the right side of the river before the KY 90 bridge and take out at the public falls parking/carrydown area. Missing that move is a stand-down failure, not a recoverable inconvenience.
Road shuttle
Stage the Cumberland Falls vehicle first, then drive back into Williamsburg for the launch beside the Main Street Bridge. Inspect the falls-side carrydown before launching because the mandatory right-bank take-out above the falls is the core safety gate for the full route.
