- Sherman Park is a public campground and boat-ramp endpoint. Take out there unless a separate Sherman-to-Allen's-Grove plan is staged.
- Sandbar camping is allowed on the meandered lower Wapsipinicon from Central City to the Mississippi only where bars are exposed and safe; private uplands remain off limits.
