Launch at Cane Bluff and take out at Whitten for a long Eleven Point continuation that starts on the smaller upper river and finishes on the colder spring-fed lower corridor. Use the Bardley gauge as a conservative low-water estimate, then make a same-day visual call at the launch.

Cane Bluff River AccessCane Bluff and Whitten are official Forest Service river accesses with published coordinates, but rural road conditions, parking limits, and site rules can change after storms.
Take-out
Whitten River AccessThe Bardley gauge is downstream of the Cane Bluff half, so the upper miles can still feel shallower and slower than the gauge alone suggests near the 300 cfs floor.
Road shuttle
Use a two-car or local outfitter shuttle between Cane Bluff and Whitten. Both approaches use rural Forest Service roads, and the Whitten descent is steep enough that it is worth scouting before launching.

- The Eleven Point corridor includes private lands under scenic easement. Do not assume banks away from public accesses, designated float camps, or legal gravel-bar stops are public.
More route and safety guidance
- Below Greer Spring the river gets colder and more forceful, and this longer route still includes Mary Decker Shoal, fresh wood risk after rain, and limited easy exits between official accesses.
- Use only the named Forest Service accesses and legal float camps. Private banks and informal gravel pull-offs are not substitutes for Cane Bluff or Whitten.
