Launch at Whitten and take out at Highway 142 / The Narrows for the long lower-Eleven continuation to the last scenic-river access. Use the Bardley gauge as a conservative low-water check and keep extra margin for cold water, weather, and distance.

- Highway 142 / The Narrows is the last access on the southern end of the Eleven Point National Scenic River Area. Missing it pushes the trip toward Arkansas and changes the route plan.
- The Eleven Point corridor includes private lands under scenic easement. Do not assume banks away from public accesses, designated float camps, or legal gravel-bar stops are public.
More route and safety guidance
- Shoals, fresh wood, Halls Bay, thunderstorms, and cold spring-fed water can turn an otherwise easy run into a much slower commitment.
- Use the named Forest Service accesses only. The Narrows is the last scenic-river access above Arkansas, and private banks between public accesses are not substitutes.
